About us

O Ninho was created in 2022 with a simple but powerful mission: to build a space where food is for everyone and memories are cherished. Being Italian, we traditionally view meals as the perfect opportunity to stay together and create connections, and we wanted to bring this beautiful philosophy with us to Lagos.

O Ninho literally means "The Nest". For families, especially those with small children, O Ninho is a safe haven where kids can truly be kids—playing freely alone or with their parents while the family enjoys anything from a simple drink to a full meal.

We combine our Italian cuisine heritage and some Portuguese local icons with our professional experience to ensure a safe and delightful experience for everyone. 

We know it isn't always easy to find inclusive options, which is why we specialize in vegan, dairy-free, and gluten-free choices.
