I went through an extreme process designing this logo. I realized I needed something simple yet definitive such as many of the top companies. The main definitive factor of those companies is that you can recognize them by simply the color or shape at first glance. That is the idea that I wanted to represent with this logo.
I used Adobe Illustrator for this project and made traditional sketches and digital sketches using procreate as drafts.
I posted the prerecorded time-lapse of my digital sketching process.
The video is posted on my student graphic design account via youtube.
For this, all the text info was already given to me but I was tasked with formatting everything to fit correctly into the space while making the information visually appealing. Cropping the photos and arranging the logos/ decorative additives were all done in Adobe InDesign.

The main idea for this design was to showcase which animal you would meet and greet by giving you a "start here" card with the animal information to see if they would be a perfect fit for you.
The humane society is an organization that fights to end animal suffering. This fight against animal suffering includes animal cruelty, disasters that take the home of animals, and much much more. The humane society helps care for animals in crisis and gives some animals a new place to call home. Whether it's adoption or the shelters they provide homes for so many different animals. The humane society also works with law enforcement to help animals that are being abused and also takes donations to save animals in emergencies.
The Humane Society is holding a pet speed dating event called, “Timed Tags”. To start everyone will receive a “Start Here” card that tells each person where to start their meet and greet journey with the animals. During the meet and greet everyone will have 10 minutes to play with and pet each animal. After ten minutes they will switch to the next one. There will be an entrance fee of $10-$15 ($10 for standard entry, and $15 for standard entry plus a care bag) that will be donated to the Humane Society. Any extra funds are appreciated. The money donated will be to shelters as well as for rescues of these animals. There will also be Adoption booths throughout the event for any questions, concerns, or of course, adoption inquiries. The event will be from March 13th- March 16th, From 11 am-5 pm. The theme of all visual advertisements, promotions, and designs is modern casual.
The main concept for this café was to incorporate that cats and people were going to be sharing the same space and getting to know each other so on the back of the menu the employees can put the cats pictures and information on the back. Within the menu there's a place to order food for the felines and for yourself.
All of the elements (the vectors and illustrations) for this were designed in Adobe illustrator then applied to mockups in photoshop
