We are a Chilean-Brazilian couple who have dedicated many years to social work in various countries such as Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, India, Kenya, and Ukraine. We believe in transforming society through values such as love, respect, humility, and empathy. Our goal is to make ONG Vamos an organization that provides support and necessary tools to combat inequalities and social gaps wherever we are working.
I have been involved in social work as a volunteer in children's homes since 2011. Today, as part of the board of our NGO VAMOS, I want to be a stepping stone for children and young people to grow up with equal opportunities, providing principles and values that will help them grow in a healthy way.
Since 2011, I have been leading social work in the city of Rancagua. We started by providing breakfast on weekends, and gradually the vision of this work evolved. It became more than just breakfast; with the help of other volunteers, we began to develop workshops in crafts, education, and sports, while continuing to address the nutritional needs of children. My dream is for more people with diverse abilities to join us so that together, step by step, we can achieve more effective support for the community.
As a professional soccer player, I fully understand the effort that children and their families put into making their dreams come true. Not only do I want to support them in achieving these challenges, but also guide and accompany children and young people through every life process they face through our social work.
