About Joyce

Multilingual Occupational Therapist – Joyce Wan

Joyce completed a Master of Occupational Therapy Practice at Monash University. Since graduating, she has gained experience across a range of settings, with a primary focus on paediatrics. Her previous roles include positions at La Trobe University, Autism Spectrum Australia (Aspect), and various private practices. Joyce is currently working across two community health centres serving the Whitehorse and Banyule council areas, while also seeing private clients.

Joyce has worked with children and individuals with special needs to enhance their knowledge and learning in the areas of social skills, gross and fine motor development through creating games and activities that offer differing levels of sensory, visual and motor stimulation.

Joyce enjoys working in partnership with children and individuals, and their family to work towards their goals. She is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin. She has experience in working with culturally and linguistically diverse families.
