The best part of One STEM Chicago? You don't have to leave your classroom to participate!

1. Check your calendar to make sure you can have your students complete the challenge between Monday, May 7th, 2018 and Thursday, May 10th, 2018.
2. Check your calendar to make sure you can have your students connect digitally with another classroom on Friday, May 11th, 2017.
3. Review the Lesson Plan and Standards.
4. Complete the registration form at the bottom of this page. You will need to be logged in with your CPS credentials to see the form.

1. After completing the registration you will receive an email with a link to all the registered participants.
2. Use the filter function to find a teacher that is available the same time you are. The goal of the activity is to connect classrooms around the city. Please consider contacting a school in a different neighborhood or even a different grade level band.
3. Contact this teacher to schedule a Skype of Google Hangout on Friday, May 11th, 2018. Only contact teachers that are not already partnered up. Please do not spam the entire list.
4. After confirming that the date and time works for both of you, add your names to the "Who are you partnered with on May 11th?" column.

1. Help spread the word! Print out this sign and hang it on your classroom door. You can even take a picture of your students with it and Tweet it with #oneSTEMchi. For questions about photographing students please see the FAQ page.
2. Follow #oneSTEMchi and share your lesson plans and questions with other participating educators.
