Onenote Download ((NEW)) Ubuntu

The search for a good onenote alternative has occupied me for many months. Having tried all of the above I have settled for the moment on Keepnote (.org). While not as flashy as Onenote it has some advantages. I sync it to a cloud and as such, all my notes are accessible because they are html :)

Here's what I've tried:

Evernote Legacy app import: This works, but tags are everywhere and does not resemble the Page / Sub page that I've created in Onenote.

-export/ In my first test, I can't get anything to work. My Onenote is big, so this utility stops working at 265MB, then hangs.

-bulk-export-onenote-notebooks-to-markdown-and-other-formats/ This looked promising, but did not work either.

Is there anything that I'm not finding out there that will work?

Turns out, @Sauron summed it perfectly right. There are multiple workarounds to get close to onenote. But most of them have performantce issues or are really limited in function. If you only use the active pen for some single activities, the comination of multiple programs might be a solution. But for me, editing huge PDFs and writing hand in exersises as well as whole lectures with the pen, you will have a hard time. For example taking quick notes during lectures is hard with low performance.

And 2. I am unable to update the system because CAE Linux 2018 is particularly finicky in regards to updates (because if I update the system, some of the CAE applications that are part of this variant of the Xubuntu distro will stop working).

Also note as well that prior to attempting to uninstall snapd, I had attempted to install p3x-onenote and I used snap uninstall p3x-onenote in order to try and clean that up before trying to uninstall snapd and nothing seemed to work like the commands would have or should have otherwise suggest or allude to.
