One Minute Calm is an iOS app designed to help you quickly relax and find balance through guided breathing exercises. Whether you’re at work, at home, or on the go, the app offers short, effective breathing sessions supported by soothing background sounds.
Session Duration: Choose 1, 3, or 5 minutes.
Breathing Cycle: Follow the on-screen guide: Inhale (4s) / Exhale (6s).
Background Sound: Select from calming audio options such as ocean waves, birds chirping, summer rain, or a flowing stream.
Sound Toggle: Enable or disable background audio as desired.
Select your session duration.
Pick a background sound or keep it silent.
Tap Start to begin.
Follow the expanding and shrinking circle while breathing in and out.
At the end of the countdown, a gentle chime will signal completion.
Q: Do I need headphones to use the app?
A: No, but headphones or earbuds can enhance the experience with background sounds.
Q: Can I use the app offline?
A: Yes, all sounds and features work without an internet connection.
Q: What if I prefer silence?
A: Simply disable the background sound toggle before starting a session.
Q: Can I customize the breathing rhythm?
A: Not yet, but it’s something I may add in a future update.
App crashes or freezes:
Force close the app and restart.
Ensure you’re running the latest version of iOS.
Restart your device if problems persist.
No sound playback:
Check that your device volume is turned up.
Ensure the mute switch (if applicable) is off.
Verify the sound toggle inside the app is enabled.
Timer not running correctly:
Confirm you selected a duration before starting.
Restart the app and try again.
