#OneBandOneSound2021
The vision for the #OneBandOneSound2021 project was formed by educator friends, Dr. Melissa Collins and Loryn Windwehen. Collins and Windwehen traveled the globe together on two occasions - once to Brazil, and once to India, thanks to the NEA Foundation. It was because of those travel experiences that they now view the world as a flat place, merely limited by the choice of connection.
Cultivated with the belief in the power of global education and human connection, they decided to bring people together, despite the forced isolation that the current circumstances are causing.
Today, people of all ages around the world are invited to sign up, create musical instruments using household materials. On this Earth Day, let’s make music together!
