Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 26, 2026
One2Snap is a document scanning application developed to help users capture, process, and save document images on their Android devices.
This Privacy Policy explains how One2Snap accesses, uses, and handles information when you use the application.
1. Document Images
One2Snap allows users to capture document images using the device camera.
Scanned and processed document images are saved locally to the user’s device gallery. One2Snap does not operate its own server and does not upload, store, or share document images on a developer-controlled server.
Users are responsible for managing, sharing, backing up, or deleting images saved on their devices.
2. Camera and Storage Access
One2Snap may request access to the device camera to capture documents.
The app may also request access necessary to save completed JPG images to the device gallery. These permissions are used only to provide the document scanning and saving functions requested by the user.
3. Document Processing
One2Snap uses Google ML Kit and Google Play services to provide document scanning features, including document-edge detection, cropping, and perspective correction.
Document scanning is primarily processed on the device. Google Play services may download models, scanning components, updates, or compatibility information. Google may also receive technical metrics relating to SDK performance, usage, debugging, security, and abuse prevention in accordance with Google’s privacy practices.
4. Advertising
One2Snap uses Google AdMob to display advertisements.
The Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect or process information such as:
• Device or other identifiers
• Advertising-related information
• App interactions
• Diagnostic and performance information
• Approximate location derived from device information, where applicable
This information may be used by Google to provide, measure, secure, and improve advertising services, subject to the user’s settings, consent choices, and applicable laws.
One2Snap does not directly receive users’ document images through AdMob.
5. Third-Party Services
One2Snap uses services provided by Google, including:
• Google Mobile Ads SDK
• Google ML Kit
• Google Play services
These third-party services may process information according to their own privacy policies and terms.
Users may review Google’s Privacy Policy for more information about how Google handles data.
6. Personal Information
One2Snap does not require users to create an account, sign in, or directly provide their name, email address, telephone number, or payment information.
The developer does not sell users’ personal information.
7. Data Retention and Deletion
Document images created through One2Snap remain on the user’s device until the user deletes them.
One2Snap does not maintain a developer-controlled database containing users’ scanned documents or account information.
Information processed independently by third-party services may be retained according to those services’ respective policies.
8. Children’s Privacy
One2Snap is not specifically directed toward children under the age of 13.
The app does not knowingly request personal information directly from children. Advertising and data handling may be subject to Google Play, AdMob, and applicable child-protection requirements.
9. Security
One2Snap is designed to keep scanned document images on the user’s device. However, no device, software, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Users should avoid scanning or sharing highly sensitive documents unless they understand and accept the associated risks.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when the app’s features, third-party services, or legal requirements change.
Any updated version will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
