Why do this action?
The best opportunity to prevent Trumpism from taking a greater hold in the United States is to prevent Donald Trump from returning to the White House and to elect a Democratic House and Senate. Achieving this will require tens of thousands of conversations with voters in swing states/districts to persuade them to vote and to vote for Democrats.Â
Traditionally, political campaigns achieve this by sending volunteers to knock on doors and make phone calls. While these methods are effective, people are far more likely to talk to and be persuaded by someone they know than by a stranger. This track will walk you through how to leverage your existing network of friends to make as big of an impact as quickly as possible (also known as "relational organizing").
Note: this track is most powerful if you do it with a buddy. Organizing with a friend helps encourage you, holds you accountable, and gives you people to problem solve with. Power comes from relationships, and the more you build, the better.
