About Me

As a Quaternary/Environmental Geologist, I am passionate about the intersection of science and policy. My research interest centers on understanding the responses of ecosystems to past and present climate and environmental changes. With over 15 years of experience, I specialize in studying the interactions between natural systems, including water, climate, and environment, and human activities.

My research focuses on using sedimentary records and biogeochemical analyses to reconstruct past environments and understand how they have changed over time. Specifically, I investigate the impacts of climate change and land-use change on ecosystems and landscapes. I emphasize the importance of using scientific data to inform policy decisions related to environmental management and conservation.

Through my research, I strive to bridge the gap between scientific knowledge and policy development. By providing evidence-based recommendations, I hope to contribute to the development of policies that promote the sustainable use and management of our natural resources. Overall, I am committed to advancing our understanding of the impacts of human activities on the environment and using this knowledge to guide policy decisions that support environmental conservation and protection.
