Appx 7 % children of young age suffer from one of the following Speech disorders:

(i) Articulation disorders. Speech is very difficult to understand.

(ii) Fluency disorders. Involuntary repetition of sounds and syllables as well as prolonged sounds and syllables. They interrupt the flow of speech and make communication harder.

(iii) Voice disorders. Affects various factors of speech, including pitch and volume. They can make speech uncomfortable and even painful.

During last 15 years Om Sai Creche gave admission to 4 such children suffering from Speech disorders and teher was significant improvement in the Speech over a period of stay in Creche.
