Privacy Policy for OmniTool Effective Date: August 21, 2026
OmniTool ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is collected, used, and protected when you use the OmniTool Android application.
1. The OmniTool Privacy Advantage (Local Data) OmniTool is built with a privacy-first local architecture. OmniTool does not transmit these feature-specific data to our servers or third-party services:
Health & Fitness Data: Your Body Mass Index (BMI), Exact Age (DOB), BMR, and Body Fat inputs are processed 100% locally on your device.
Vault Secrets: Passwords and secrets saved in the Vault Manager are encrypted and stored solely on your device.
Notes, Diary, & Calendar: All productivity text, tasks, whiteboard drawings, and calendar events remain locally in your device's database.
Camera & Microphone:
The Camera is used strictly for the QR Scanner. QR codes are processed locally. If a URL is found, you may choose to open it in your device's browser.
The Microphone is used strictly for the Decibel Meter. Audio is temporarily processed locally to calculate sound amplitude and is immediately deleted.
GPS Location: We do not request or access your device's precise or approximate GPS location.
2. Data Collected by Third-Party Services To maintain and monetize OmniTool, we integrate with secure third-party SDKs that collect and transmit specific data for analytics and advertising:
Google Analytics for Firebase, Firebase Crashlytics, and Firebase Performance: We use these services to understand app usage and fix bugs. They automatically collect App Interactions (e.g., screens visited), Crash Logs, Diagnostics (e.g., app performance data), and Device/Installation Identifiers.
Google AdMob: We use AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect your IP Address, Advertising ID, App Interactions, and Diagnostic Information for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. Depending on your region, you may manage ad privacy preferences via the "Manage Ad Privacy Options" button in the app.
3. External APIs OmniTool connects to external APIs to provide live data:
WeatherAPI & ExchangeRate-API: When you request weather or currency information, the city, currency, or other query parameters needed to fulfill your request are sent to the relevant third-party API over HTTPS. These services may also receive standard network information required to process the request.
4. Data Security All data transmitted by OmniTool to third-party services (Firebase, AdMob, APIs) is encrypted in transit using standard HTTPS/TLS protocols. Your local Vault data is encrypted at rest on your device.
5. Data Deletion and Your Rights
Local Data Deletion: Because your personal data (Vault, Notes, Health, etc.) is stored locally, you can delete it entirely at any time by navigating to your Android device Settings > Apps > OmniTool > Storage > Clear Data, or by uninstalling the app.
Third-Party Data Deletion Request: If you have questions about deletion of data processed by third-party services, contact us at
omnitoolapp@gmail.com
. We will provide information about the applicable controls and deletion mechanisms offered by those services.
6. Children's Privacy OmniTool is a general-audience application and is not directed toward children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Contact Us If you have any questions or concerns about this Privacy Policy or your data, please contact us at:
