Privacy Policy
Effective Date: May 29, 2026
Spambot 2048 ("we", "us", or "our") operates the SpamBot 2048 mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in connection with your use of the App. We are committed to protecting the privacy of all users, and we take special care to comply with applicable laws regarding the privacy of children, including the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Google Play's Families Policy.
Please read this policy carefully. By downloading or using the App you agree to the practices described here.
SpamBot 2048 is a casual runner game suitable for children and families. The App is directed at a general audience and may be used by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from any user, including children.
The App asks you to enter an email address at the start of each game session. This email address is used solely as your in-game character label (it appears on screen as your player avatar). It is:
Stored only in the device's memory for the duration of the session.
Never transmitted to our servers or any third party.
Never stored on your device after the App is closed.
Never used for any marketing, advertising, or communication purpose.
We strongly encourage parents and guardians to supervise the email address entered by children. You may enter any display name in the email format — it does not need to be a real address.
We do not collect, store, or process any of the following:
Real names, addresses, or contact information.
Device identifiers, advertising IDs, or IP addresses.
Location data of any kind.
Usage analytics or crash reports.
Cookies or tracking technologies.
Payment information of any kind.
The App declares the `INTERNET` permission in its Android manifest. This permission is used exclusively for one purpose: when a user taps the "Support the Dev" (donation) button on the Game Over screen, the App opens your device's default web browser and navigates to:
https://www.paypal.com/ncp/payment/UTN7RXFFSM2Z6
This is a standard Android Intent action. The App itself does not make any network requests, connect to any server, or transmit any data over the internet. Once the browser opens, you are subject to the privacy policy of the destination website, not this App.
The donation button is entirely optional. Tapping it is a voluntary action and has no effect on gameplay. Children should only use the donation button with the knowledge and consent of a parent or guardian.
The App does not integrate any third-party SDKs, analytics tools, advertising networks, social media plugins, or crash reporting services. No data is shared with any third party as part of normal App operation.
The App is distributed through the Google Play Store. Google may collect certain device and usage information as part of operating the Play Store platform. This collection is governed by Google's own Privacy Policy, which you can review at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
We are committed to complying with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Google Play's Families Policy. Because we do not collect any personal information from any user, no special parental consent mechanism is required for children to play the App.
Specifically:
No account creation is required.
No personal information is collected, stored, or shared.
No in-app purchases are offered within the App itself.
No advertising is displayed within the App.
The only external link in the App is the optional donation button, which opens a web browser. Parents and guardians should supervise use of this button.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us at brocksprogramming@gmail.com and we will promptly address your concern.
Because we do not collect or store any user data, there is no user data at risk of breach or unauthorized access on our end. The email-format label entered at the start of each session exists only in device RAM and is discarded when the App is closed or the session ends.
We retain no user data. The in-session email label is held in device memory only and is automatically cleared when the App process ends. We have no servers storing user information.
Because we collect no personal information, there is nothing to access, correct, export, or delete on our end. If you have any questions or concerns about your privacy in relation to the App, please contact us at brocksprogramming@gmail.com.
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or California, the same applies — we collect no data and therefore have no data to provide, correct, or erase in response to a GDPR or CCPA request.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective Date" at the top of this document and post the updated policy to the App's Google Play Store listing. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
