Omni Render is a browser extension that formats and renders content explicitly provided by the user.
Data Handling
Omni Render processes content that the user types, pastes, imports from a local file, or explicitly sends through the context menu, including user-selected website text.
Omni Render does not automatically read full webpages, browsing history, or unrelated browser data. User-provided content is used only for formatting, rendering, and the extension's local history feature.
Local Processing and Storage
All formatting and rendering take place locally on the user's device. Omni Render does not transmit user content to the developer or to external servers.
The extension uses local browser storage to:
Save the user's language preference and local history settings.
Temporarily transfer user-selected text from the background service worker to the workbench after the user chooses the context-menu command.
Maintain a local history containing user-provided content and associated metadata, such as source type, imported file name, timestamps, content size, preview text, and a locally generated hash used to detect duplicate entries.
Temporarily transferred context-menu content is removed after the workbench reads it. The content may then be saved as a local history entry subject to the user's configured history limits.
Theme, font size, appearance, and layout preferences may also be stored locally.
Omni Render requests the unlimitedStorage permission because individual user-provided documents or the configured local history may exceed Chrome's standard local storage quota. Users can configure the maximum number of history entries and maximum storage size.
All stored data remains on the user's device and is never uploaded.
Data Sharing and Sale
Omni Render does not sell, share, or transfer user data to third parties. User data is not used for advertising, analytics, creditworthiness, or purposes unrelated to the extension's formatting and rendering features.
Remote Code
Omni Render does not load or execute remotely hosted code. All executable code and supporting assets are included in the extension package.
User Control
Users can delete individual history entries, clear all history, and configure history entry and storage limits from the extension's settings.
Users can also clear locally stored extension data through Chrome or remove all associated data by uninstalling the extension.
Limited Use
Omni Render's use of information received from Chrome APIs complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

This privacy policy may be updated when the extension's functionality or data-handling practices change. Updates will be published on this page.
