Privacy Policy Omni Pixel Helper — Chrome Extension
Overview Omni Pixel Helper is a browser extension that detects and decodes marketing pixel and conversion events from Meta (Facebook), TikTok, Twitter (X), and LinkedIn on the pages you visit. Your privacy is important to us, and this policy explains how the extension handles your data.
Data Collection Omni Pixel Helper does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. Specifically: • No personal information is collected. • No browsing history is recorded or transmitted. • No data is sent to any external server, analytics service, or third party. • No cookies are set by the extension. • No user accounts or sign-ins are required.
How the Extension Works The extension monitors network requests on the active tab to identify known marketing pixel endpoints (e.g., Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, Twitter/X Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag). Detected events are decoded and displayed locally in the browser's side panel. All processing happens entirely within your browser — no data ever leaves your device.
Permissions The extension requests the following permissions: • webRequest — To observe network requests and identify pixel events firing on the current page. • activeTab — To associate detected events with the tab you are currently viewing. • storage — To save your local preferences and settings within the browser. • tabs — To track tab navigation and display events relevant to the active tab. • sidePanel — To display detected pixel events in Chrome's side panel. • host_permissions — To monitor network requests to known pixel domains (facebook.com, tiktok.com, linkedin.com, twitter.com, etc.).
Third-Party Services This extension does not integrate with, send data to, or receive data from any third-party services, APIs, or analytics platforms.
Data Storage Any data stored by the extension (such as user preferences) is kept locally in your browser using Chrome's built-in storage API. This data never leaves your device and can be cleared by uninstalling the extension.
Children's Privacy This extension is not directed at children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from children.
Changes to This Policy We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
