Description: comprehensive collection of playing guides for the Omnichords from Marily Berry's (AKA '@seniorlady' on discord). While focused on the Qchord, nearly all of it can be applied to all omnichord models. Guides range from basic begginer familiarization with how omnichords work all the way to complex music theory, transposition, and composition as it relates to the instrument. A fantastic resource.

Description: Easy fingering to be able to play tons of songs quickly. It can be hard to see what is actually going on when watching a Qchord player from a distance, so I made this "Quick Tip" video to describe my left hand fingering style up close and without music. It's worth noting that I end up writing most of the songs I play in the keys of "C", "G", "D" and sometimes "F". Then I'll use the Qchord's transpose buttons to adjust the pitch for me.

Description: The Qchord's poorly implemented midi has made it impossible to use as a midi controller for decades. But now, we have finally found a way to bring it to it's full potential assigning each channel to it's own vst and with a proper working strum plate. (u/SabreSour)

Description: The strum plate on any Omnichord is not velocity sensitive. Unlike most instruments, the sound/volume does not change depending on how hard you press the keys. Making using the omni as a midi midi controler limited when using velocity sensitive instruments or VSTs. By encorporating an expression pedal, we can control velocity out information for much better expression. (Sabre Sour)

Description: The purpose of the OmniBass plugin is to make it simple to play bass lines and underlying pads using the Suzuki Omnichord OM-108 MIDI output. The OM-108 has a robust MIDI implementation that lends itself well to extended capabilities using VST plugins. Playing the Omnichord is based on selecting chord combinations on the keyboard, and strumming or picking notes on the strumplate that are in the selected chord. The OmniBass plugin extends this capability to allow individual notes to be played from a controller that always map onto notes of the chord being played by the OM-108. (worshipsongband)
