OmniDay ("we", "our", or "the app") is a personal productivity app built by Soubhagya Mohapatra. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Short version: Almost all your data stays on your device. We do not sell or share your personal information.
Data stored locally on your device
All of the following is stored only on your iPhone using local storage — it is never sent to our servers:
Tasks — titles, times, notes, completion status
Finance data — bill names, amounts, due dates, subscription names, investment figures
Health data — steps, sleep hours, weight, height, water intake, habits
App settings — theme, color preferences, time format, notification preferences
Data collected automatically
Crash reports (Sentry)
If the app crashes, an anonymous crash report is sent to Sentry (sentry.io). This may include:
Device type and OS version
App version
Stack trace of the crash (code location, not your personal data)
Sentry does not receive any of your tasks, health, or finance data.
OmniDay can read and display health data from Apple Health, including steps and sleep, if you grant permission.
Health data is read from your device only and displayed within the app
We do not upload your health data to any server
We do not share health data with third parties
You can revoke HealthKit access at any time in iPhone Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → OmniDay
We follow Apple's HealthKit guidelines and do not use health data for advertising or unrelated purposes.
If you enable task reminders, the app schedules local notifications on your device. These notifications are generated locally — no notification content is sent to external servers.
You can disable notifications at any time in iPhone Settings → Notifications → OmniDay.

We do not use advertising SDKs, analytics trackers, or sell data to any third party.
All your data lives on your device. You can delete it at any time:
In-app: Settings → Reset All App Data
Full removal: Delete the OmniDay app from your iPhone
We have no copy of your data on our servers, so there is nothing for us to delete on our end.
OmniDay is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us and we will address it promptly.
We may update this policy when the app adds new features. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
