# OmniCalc privacy policy

OmniCalc ("the app") is a calculator for Android published by kabby. Contact: kabhay255@gmail.com.
## What stays on your device
Your calculation history, saved variables, settings and the last downloaded exchange-rate table are stored only in the app's
private storage on your device. There is no account and no sign-in. We do not run our own servers and we do not receive
anything you calculate. *Settings → Delete all data* erases all of it; uninstalling the app does too.
## When the app uses the internet
- **Exchange rates.** When you tap *Update rates* in the currency tool, the app requests public reference rates from
`api.frankfurter.app`. Like any website, that service can see your IP address and the standard details of the request.
Nothing you have calculated is included.
- **Ads.** See below.
## Ads
The Modes list shows a banner ad served by Google AdMob. The calculators, the finance and trading tools, and Settings never show ads.
To show and measure ads, Google may collect and use information such as your device's advertising ID, IP address (from which
an approximate location can be inferred), device and app details, and how you interact with ads. Where the law requires it
(for example in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom) the app asks for your consent before any ad is requested,
and you can change your choice later under *Settings → Privacy and ads → Ad privacy choices*. You can also reset or delete

## Camera solver
Pictures you take or choose are read on your device with a text-recognition model that ships inside the app. They are not
uploaded, and a photo taken through the app is deleted as soon as its text has been read. The app does not request the camera
permission: photos are taken by your device's camera app.
## Children
The app is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
## Not advice
The finance and trading tools are calculators. They are not financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and exchange rates
are indicative reference rates, not what a bank or broker will charge.
