Earlier this month, right before senators departed for their summer recess, Majority Leader Chuck Schumer of New York made an 11th-hour plea to his colleagues to take up the omnibus voting rights bill, the For the People Act.

Database schema upgrades have of late proved an extreme source of pain since the mattermost omnibus chef recipes are trying to automate a bunch of (I believe) postgres SQL schema change updates during updates. These are failing routinely on me, between 7.x and 8.x updates. Even fresh installs of Gitlab Omnibus followed by enabling Mattermost in gitlab.rb were not working on a fresh clean VM out of the box for me as recently as June 2016. I may need to retry that clean VM test now that gitlab 8.9.5 CE is released.

I am reviving this dead thread because the title is exactly what I do not understand. I installed gitlab omnibus and I enabled MM in the gitlab.rb. I can go to mattermost.myserver.com and I see a normal MM install. But I thought it was supposed to integrate with GitHub somehow?

As the nation continues to face a worsening maternal health crisis, these investments are an important step forward towards making the country a safer place to give birth. There are many more things left for lawmakers to do to address the maternal health crisis: notably, Congress did not act on many of the Momnibus bills which are specifically targeted to address the Black maternal health crisis. However, the coverage and infrastructure investments are an important step forward in maternal health policy, and will help turn the tide of maternal mortality and morbidity that has consistently increased in recent years, with Black and Brown communities bearing the greatest burden.

This post (omnibus or source - can't decide which one to use for gitllab backup/restore) mentions looking for a .git file in the GitLab root folder (/home/git/gitlab) - I don't see a .git file there. So, by that comment the installation was Omnibus.

In 1853, the impriale was introduced, an omnibus with seating on the roof. At first, this upper deck was open to the weather, reached by a ladder, but later on some vehicles it was enclosed, and the ladder evolved into a curving staircase up the back of the omnibus.

Trams were gradually overtaken by motor coaches, but horse-drawn omnibuses remained a common sight on Paris streets for many years. The very last horse-drawn impriale made its final trip between La Villette and St-Sulpice on January 11, 1913, accompanied by a crowd of well-wishers. In this image from Gallica of that historic run, it seems that it was foggy that day.

Thank you for this description of the omnibus. I could almost picture myself there riding the omnibus. Now when I look at a city transit bus I will have a greater appreciation for public transportation.

Then when I make dex.yml available to the container (see end of README at GitHub - gristlabs/grist-omnibus: an opinionated Grist+Dex+Traefik package for first-time self-hosters) everything comes up OK for me. If Microsoft is blocked, you may need to remove that also.

The package grist-omnibus is user friendly where Google is not blocked. A good one for first-time self-hosters. One suggestion I have is to remove the A-Z in the TEAM for clarity: GitHub - gristlabs/grist-omnibus: an opinionated Grist+Dex+Traefik package for first-time self-hosters.

It seems that Mattermost is the only part of the Omnibus stack that does not provide aarch64 packages, and while it will build for that architecture, they are not officially supported. This bug report in omnibus documents the problem.

The omnibus package is comprised of all 12 annual appropriations bills and will fund the government through September 2023. Overall, the bill provides $858 billion in defense spending, representing about a 10 percent increase from the baseline, and $772.5 billion in nondefense discretionary spending, an increase less than the 7.1 percent inflation rate. Also included in the bill is nearly $45 billion in additional Ukraine aid; legislation banning the use of TikTok on government phones; the Electoral Count Act Reform, which clarifies that the vice president cannot overturn election results when Congress counts Electoral College votes; and $40 billion in funding to assist communities across the country recovering from natural disasters. The bill also does waive the statutory Pay-as-You-Go Act of 2010 for both 2023 and 2024, providing certainty for state and local governments and allowing $14 billion in subsidy payments to public entities to move forward.

On Wednesday, January 11 State Health and Value Strategies hosted a webinar on the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2023, an omnibus funding package that includes government appropriations through September 30, 2023 as well as a number of health policy provisions. Included in the package is a date certain for the expiration of the Medicaid continuous coverage requirement, a gradual phase down of the Families First Coronavirus Response Act enhanced federal match rate, and new guardrails to protect against inappropriate coverage loss and smooth coverage transitions.

Survey Analytics's Omnibus Survey is an excellent choice when budgets are limited. Demographic questions are included on every omnibus without any additional cost to you, allowing you to look at how different demographic groups (gender, age, region of the country, parents) responded to your questions. 006ab0faaa
