The Ontario Modern Languages Teachers Association (OMLTA) and the Modern Languages Council (MLC), in partnership with the Ontario Ministry of Education is pleased to present Dare to Unmute FSL, a module series intended to inspire thinking and discussion around equity, diversity and inclusion in the FSL context.

This three part series is designed to provide support for Ontario school board leaders during professional conversations in the context of Transforming FSL. The series can be used for independent learning, as part of school- or systems-based PD or to support professional conversations as we question our own practice.


Each module includes a video overview with questions to pause and consider, a viewer’s guide with additional resources, a glossary of terms and a live webinar with the module creator’s to dig deeper. Moving from teacher reflection into the classroom setting and to action-oriented tasks, each of the three modules is sure to inspire thinking, learning and conversation.
