Shamsaddin Amanov (born March 16, 1999) is an Azerbaijani data scientist, author, and philosopher. He is best known as the founder of Omittoism, a distinct philosophical framework developed to address the metaphysical gaps between religious dogma and atheism. Amanov represents a unique intersection of disciplines, bridging technical expertise in data science and operations management with deep existential and political inquiry.
Currently based in Melbourne, Australia, he is pursuing advanced studies in Data Science while continuing to publish works on human sovereignty and philosophical jurisdiction.
Amanov is the architect of Omittoism, a worldview he first conceptualized in March 2020 and systematically codified between late 2025 and early 2026.
The Manifesto: His primary philosophical text, The Manifesto of Omittoism, was composed in Baku, Azerbaijan. It outlines a concept of "Jurisdictional Sovereignty"—a consent-based critique of divine authority.
The "Philosophical Orphans": The framework addresses a specific demographic Amanov terms "Philosophical Orphans." These are individuals who find traditional religious dogmas intellectually untenable yet feel that conventional atheism fails to sufficiently answer existential questions regarding power, legitimacy, and the human condition.
Amanov’s academic journey reflects a global trajectory, moving from public policy to business administration, and finally to computational science.
