Hey! 👋 Â
My name is Omer, and I am a PhD candidate at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, under the supervision of Yakov Babichenko and Moshe Tennenholtz (as a part of the GameTheory@Technion research group).Â
My primary research field is algorithmic game theory and its applications in data science, machine learning and artificial intelligence. In particular, I am interested in information design, mechanism design, and learning dynamics in the context of recommendation systems and search engines. My expertise includes mathematical economic modelling, applied ML, and integrating LLMs and GenAI into economic and strategic decision-making. During my PhD studies, I worked as a research intern at Booking.com, developing LLM-based solutions for aspect-based sentiment analysis and advanced topic modeling.Â
I also hold an MSc in data science (supervised by Moshe Tennenholtz and Itai Arieli) and a BSc in data science and engineering, both from the Technion. During my bachelor's studies, I completed two internships at Google, working on various software engineering projects.
I am open to collaborating with both academia and industry on impactful projects that address challenges in economics, human behavior, and data science. Feel free to reach out: omermadmon@campus.technion.ac.il
