Hey! 👋
My name is Omer, and I am a PhD candidate at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, under the supervision of Yakov Babichenko and Moshe Tennenholtz (as a part of the GameTheory@Technion research group). I also hold an MSc in data science (supervised by Moshe Tennenholtz and Itai Arieli) and a BSc in data science and engineering, both from the Technion.
My research lies at the intersection of algorithmic game theory, cooperative AI, and multi-agent systems. I am interested in understanding how incentives, information, and dynamics shape the behavior of increasingly capable AI agents, and in designing ecosystems in which their interactions lead to socially beneficial outcomes. My work draws on tools from information design, mechanism design, and learning in games, with recent interests in multi-agent alignment and the societal implications of agentic AI on economic markets, online platforms, and collective decision-making.
Alongside my academic research, I work as an applied science intern at Microsoft, developing agentic AI systems and their evaluation methodologies. Previously, I was a research intern at Booking.com, where I developed LLM-based solutions for aspect-based sentiment analysis and topic modeling. During my bachelor's studies, I also completed two internships at Google, working on various software engineering projects.
