Hey! 👋
My name is Omer, and I am a PhD candidate at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, under the supervision of Yakov Babichenko and Moshe Tennenholtz (as a part of the GameTheory@Technion research group).Â
My research lies in algorithmic game theory and its applications to data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. In particular, I study information design, mechanism design, and learning dynamics in recommendation systems, search engines, and multi-agent systems. I am especially interested in the integration of generative AI into economic environments and strategic decision-making processes. I also hold an MSc in data science (supervised by Moshe Tennenholtz and Itai Arieli) and a BSc in data science and engineering, both from the Technion.
Alongside my academic work, I am also an Applied Science Intern at Microsoft, working on agentic AI systems and evaluation frameworks. Previously, I was a research intern at Booking.com, where I developed LLM-based solutions for aspect-based sentiment analysis and topic modeling. During my bachelor's studies, I also completed two internships at Google, working on various software engineering projects.
