No account. No sign-in. No personal information is collected by Omegle: Chat App from you as an app user.

Chat preferences, matching filters, and app settings you choose are stored locally on your device. This page explains exactly what the app does and does not do with your data.

1. Our Commitment to Privacy

Omegle: Chat App is built to help you discover and connect with new people through random text and video chat — with confidence. We designed this app so you can use these features without creating an account, without signing in, and without sharing your personal contact details with us. Protecting your privacy and your safety while chatting is a core principle of this product.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit any of the following from you as an app user:

Your name

Your phone number

Your email address

Your home or mailing address

Your date of birth

Government identifiers (SSN, ID numbers, etc.)

Your contacts list

Precise GPS location

No sign-up, login, OTP verification, email verification, social login, or registration is ever required to use the app.

3. Information Stored On Your Device

To power your chat and discovery experience, Omegle: Chat App stores the following locally on your device only (DataStore preferences):

Selected interests for matching

Preferred languages and countries

Onboarding completion status

App settings (such as show online status preference)

Chat messages during an active session exist in app memory only and are not saved to a server. This information is not uploaded to our servers and is not linked to your identity as an app user. Data you manage in the app remains on your device — we do not receive it as personal user profile data.

4. Local, On-Device Processing

Omegle: Chat App is designed for local processing wherever possible. Core features — including the home dashboard, interest filters, language and country preferences, matching screen, text chat, and video chat interface — run on your device using locally stored preferences.

Your preferences and settings are not sent to our servers for storage or processing. You can browse most app screens and manage your filters without an internet connection.

An internet connection is needed for displaying advertisements (see Section 6) and when real-time matching and chat services are enabled in future updates.

5. Data Display and Sharing

Information displayed in the app — such as interests, language filters, and connection preferences — is read from your device's local storage.

If you share screenshots or chat content through your device's standard share options, that sharing is handled by your device and the app you choose — we do not receive copies of shared content unless you explicitly send it to us (for example, by email).

You are responsible for keeping any exported or shared information secure. Never share personal details with strangers during random chats.

6. Advertising

Omegle: Chat App displays advertisements through Google AdMob to help keep the app free to use. Ad formats may include banner ads on the home screen and full-screen interstitial ads shown when you navigate between sections.

Google and its advertising partners may collect and use information such as your device's advertising ID, approximate location (derived from IP address), app interactions with ads, and technical device data to deliver, measure, and improve ads. This data is handled according to Google's policies, not stored by us as a personal user profile.

You can limit ad personalization on your device through: Android Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization

7. Camera, Microphone, and Chat Features

Omegle: Chat App requests camera and microphone access only when you choose to use video chat features. These permissions are used to enable the video chat interface on your device.

We do not record, store, or upload your camera or microphone feed to our servers in the current version of the app. Video and audio remain on your device during use.

Text messages sent during a chat session are processed in the app session and are not permanently stored on our servers.

8. Third-Party Services

Core app features run on your device. Google AdMob is used to serve advertisements. The app does not send your chat preferences or session data to external cloud services in the current version.

If you use optional actions such as sending email to support, rating the app on the Play Store, or opening an external web link, those actions are handled by the respective platform or app you choose — not by Omegle: Chat App collecting additional data from you.

9. Cookies and Tracking

The app itself does not use browser cookies. We do not operate our own analytics or cross-app tracking services within Omegle: Chat App.

Advertising partners (such as Google AdMob) may use identifiers permitted by your device and Android settings to measure ad performance. We do not build personal profiles about you based on your in-app activity beyond what is required for ad delivery through AdMob.

10. Network and Permissions

The app requests only the permissions it needs to function:

Internet access — required for loading and displaying advertisements through Google AdMob and for future real-time chat features

Camera — required only when you use video chat

Microphone — required only when you use video chat with audio

Vibrate — used for light haptic feedback in the app

We do not request access to contacts, calendar, SMS, biometric authentication, or precise location. There is no sign-in or account permission prompt when you open the app.

Your locally stored preferences remain on your device during normal app use.

11. Data Security

Because we do not collect personal information or account credentials from you as an app user, there is no personal login profile that can be compromised on our servers.

Your interests, language filters, country preferences, and app settings remain on your device unless you explicitly share content outside the app.

App preferences are stored using DataStore on your device. You can clear all locally stored data at any time through your device settings.

12. Children's Privacy

Omegle: Chat App is intended for users aged 18 and above. Random chat apps can expose users to unpredictable content from strangers.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Users under 18 should have parental guidance when using random chat features.

If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us at support@omegle.app.

13. Your Choices and Rights

Because we do not collect identifying information about you as an app user, there is no personal account or profile to delete on our side.

You can fully reset your app data at any time by uninstalling the app or clearing app storage:

Settings → Apps → Omegle: Chat App → Storage → Clear storage

Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored preferences and settings from the app's private storage area.

14. Changes to This Policy

If this policy is updated, the revised version will be available within the app on this screen. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
