This policy applies to all play areas, equipment, staff, contractors, and third-party vendors operating within the premises of Omee - Live Video Call. It governs interactions with children under 18 years of age during any play activities or events.
Safety First: Child safety and well-being are paramount in all activities and services.
Zero Tolerance for Harm: Any form of abuse, neglect, or unsafe practices is strictly prohibited.
Respect and Inclusion: All children must be treated with respect and provided an inclusive environment, irrespective of their background or abilities.
3.1. Safe Environment
Regularly inspect and maintain play equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Use child-safe materials for play equipment and furnishings.
Clearly mark emergency exits and ensure they are unobstructed.
Restrict access to hazardous areas and equipment.
3.2. Staff Conduct and Training
All staff must pass background checks prior to employment.
Staff members must complete child safety and first-aid training.
Employees must avoid being alone with a child in private or restricted areas.
Any inappropriate behavior must be reported to the management immediately.
3.3. Monitoring and Supervision
Ensure that adequate staff are present to supervise play areas at all times.
Install security cameras in public areas to enhance safety and deter misconduct.
Implement a check-in and check-out system for children to prevent unauthorized exits.
3.4. Emergency Procedures
Train staff to handle emergencies such as medical incidents, lost children, or evacuation.
Maintain a first-aid kit in accessible locations and ensure staff are trained in its use.
Develop and communicate a protocol for reuniting lost children with their guardians.
All equipment must meet or exceed safety regulations.
Perform routine inspections and maintenance to ensure functionality and safety.
Remove or repair damaged equipment immediately to avoid accidents.
5.1. Reporting Incidents
Any concerns or incidents must be reported promptly to the manager or designated Child Safety Officer.
Maintain a confidential record of all reported incidents.
5.2. Investigation
Investigate all reports thoroughly and promptly.
Involve law enforcement or child protection agencies when necessary.
5.3. Consequences for Violations
Staff found violating this policy will face disciplinary actions, up to and including termination.
Contractors or vendors failing to adhere to this policy may have their contracts terminated.
Provide clear information about child safety policies at the entrance and other visible locations.
Offer guidance to parents on supervising their children in the play area.
Conduct regular reviews and updates of the safety protocols.
Organize periodic training sessions to reinforce child safety awareness.
