The 7th International Conference on Organometallics and Catalysis
Sungkyunkwan University, SUWON
June 14 (Sun) - June 17 (Wed), 2026
OM&Cat, initiated in 2012 as a biennial event, has been successfully held 6 times in different cities (Beijing-2012, Nara-2014, Seoul-2016, Taipei-2018, Hong Kong-2022, and Tianjin-2024). This conference aims to provide an international forum for world-leading scientists to present and discuss new findings in all aspects of organometallics and catalysis. Over the years, this conference has become an important global event in the areas of organometallics and catalysis.
Organometallic chemistry and catalysis play a pivotal role in advancing modern chemical sciences and industrial processes. These fields are fundamental to the development of sustainable chemical transformations, green energy solutions, and innovative materials that address global challenges, including climate change and resource scarcity. From pharmaceutical synthesis to renewable energy applications, organometallic catalysts enable efficient and selective chemical processes that are essential for both academic research and industrial innovation.
The 7th International Conference on Organometallics and Catalysis (OM&Cat-7) will be held at Sungkyunkwan University, June 14 (Sun) - June 17 (Wed), 2026. This premier conference will bring together distinguished researchers, industry leaders, and emerging scientists to share cutting-edge discoveries and explore future directions in organometallic chemistry and catalysis. The scientific program will include plenary and invited lectures over multiple days, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange among the global scientific community.
Sungkyunkwan University is located in Suwon, just 30 minutes by car from Seoul, South Korea. As one of Korea's leading research universities with state-of-the-art facilities and a strong tradition in chemical research, Sungkyunkwan University provides an excellent venue for international scientific exchange and networking.
The organizing committee of OM&Cat-7 cordially invites colleagues and friends from both academia and industry to attend this prestigious symposium at Sungkyunkwan University and contribute to advancing the frontiers of organometallic chemistry and catalysis.
