BRIEF HISTORY:

Founded June 23rd 1998 as the Louisiana Longballers and changed ownership on  September 25th 2009 and relocated to Omaha, Nebraska as the Omaha Mavericks and later re-named the Omaha Royals for the 2011 season.  Following the conclusion of the 2022 season, the franchise announced the move to nearby  Werner Park in Papillion, Nebraska and rebranded as the Omaha Storm Chasers.
