Prep Clinic Weekend Information

The Omaha Dance Team is excited to host our annual Prep Clinic. Dancers who are interested in auditioning for our team and want to prepare themselves so they feel "audition-ready" are encouraged to attend.

The Clinic itself is a 1 day event, but we've also outlined an exploration day on Saturday, November 14th to help potential Mavs have the opportunity to experience the Omaha Dance Team world outside of dancing.

SOLO SHOWCASE: Dancers who wish to perform a 1 minute solo and receive feedback from the Omaha Dance Team Coaching Staff and alumni can add the solo showcase to their registration. The solo showcase will be limited to 25 dancers. Dancers must fully complete the clinic registration and solo showcase registration to secure their spot.

FREE PASS RECIPIENTS: If you have a received a free pass from us from a recruiting event this season, please contact Coach Mo (mmarmesh@omavs.com) to receive your registration code. You will need to complete the registration process and enter the code at checkout. If you wish to participate in the Solo Showcase, you will also need to add it to your registration and pay the solo fee.

Deadline to register is October 30th.

Recruits

Dancers interested in auditioning for the 27-28 Omaha Dance Team are highly encouraged to attend. Material from the prep clinic can be used for submitting audition videos.

What to Wear

DAY 1 (OPTIONAL)

Attire: UNO gear! It's volleyball time in Omaha. If you plan to attend the Omaha Volleyball match versus Oral Roberts you'll want to be bundled up in UNO apparel.

Shoes: Comfortable/warm shoes for touring campus and walking around Aksarben Village

DAY 2

Solo Showcase Attire (optional):
Dancers may choose to wear full costume or dancewear of their choice. Hair and makeup are also up to your choosing.

Clinic Attire

Attire: Any leggings, spandex, fitted crops, tanks, or sports bras.

Hair: We encourage you to wear a clean pony or bun for this event so you can execute technique without distraction

Makeup: Natural makeup that highlights your features

Shoes: Turners/jazz shoes for pom and jazz, tennis shoes for game day

Poms: Poms are optional

1:00pm Volleyball Match - Catch the Omaha Dance Team on the sidelines as Omaha Volleyball takes on Denver at Baxter Arena

You must complete registration for the clinic first and then fill out the Sign Up link to reserve your tour spot.

Registration Details

The Omaha Dance Team Prep Clinic is $150 per participant.

Solo Showcase (optional) is $40 and limited to 25 participants

The clinic is open to any and all dancers 7th grade through college in the 2026-2027 school year.

Registration includes the November 14th dance clinic and clinic shirt.

Any additional expenses (volleyball tickets, meals, housing) are the responsibility of the participant.
