The World Anti-Doping Code (Code) is the core document that harmonizes anti-doping policies, rules and regulations within sport organizations and among public authorities around the world. It works in conjunction with eight International Standards which aim to foster consistency among anti-doping organizations in various areas.

The sixth track "Woo" opens with "two jarring, atonal guitar chords repeated along with small, trap-influenced percussion, over a basic riff."[44] It was compared to the work of Kanye West due to its slow stomping, distortion, and lack of melody and groove.[26] "Needed Me" is a downtempo song, with small elements of electro bubble, synthetic sounds, and a loose, casual vocal that discusses romantic rejection, while the following song "Yeah, I Said It" continues the trend of containing a slowed down groove.[26] "Same Ol' Mistakes" is a cover version of "New Person, Same Old Mistakes" (2015) performed by Tame Impala. The song contains the same production as the original, featuring a "fluid sound, with elements of psychedelic, hip-hop and pop-rock genres, along with a slow, dreamy, psychedelic synth groove."[26] "Never Ending" is a guitar-led song, with elements of country music, organic melodies and backing vocals.[47]

On 7 October 2015, Rihanna held a private viewing for fans and press at Los Angeles' MAMA Gallery, where she debuted the album's official artwork and title. Initially thought to have been entitled R8, Rihanna announced the official title during the album's cover art release, revealing the album would be called ANTI. The exhibition included a piece of art which defined the album's title, stating that anti is "a person opposed to a particular policy, activity or idea."[50] Following the exhibition, Rihanna took to social media to confirm the album's title along with an explanation of its meaning. The explanation stated, "By continuing to follow her own instincts, her work strives to make an impact by doing the very antithesis of what the public expects."[51]

A prefix whose basic meaning is against. It is used to form adjectives that mean counteracting (such as antiseptic, preventing infection). It is also used to form nouns referring to substances that counteract other substances (such as antihistamine, a substance counteracting histamine), and nouns meaning something that displays opposite, reverse, or inverse characteristics of something else (such as anticyclone, a storm that circulates in the opposite direction from a cyclone). Before a vowel it becomes ant-, as in antacid.

To keep pace with the changing nature of corruption, and ensure anti-corruption is an enduring Agency priority, USAID has released its first-ever Anti-Corruption Policy. In line with the U.S. Strategy on Countering Corruption, the Policy signals our commitment to countering corruption and outlines our plan for institutionalizing anti-corruption efforts across our work, focusing on six lines of effort:

New and tougher anti-corruption regulations continue to emerge worldwide. All companies need robust anti-corruption measures and practices to protect their reputations and the interests of their stakeholders.

With our partners, we are working to help companies on a range of anti-corruption issues. These include risk assessment, reporting and supply chain practices. Additionally, we are mobilizing business to provide a united voice against corruption. Collective action is essential for bringing an end to a systemic issue that is too complex for any company to tackle alone.

Section 1. Policy. My Administration is committed to combating the rise of anti-Semitism and anti-Semitic incidents in the United States and around the world. Anti-Semitic incidents have increased since 2013, and students, in particular, continue to face anti Semitic harassment in schools and on university and college campuses.

It shall be the policy of the executive branch to enforce Title VI against prohibited forms of discrimination rooted in anti-Semitism as vigorously as against all other forms of discrimination prohibited by Title VI.

Sec. 3. Additional Authorities Prohibiting Anti-Semitic Discrimination. Within 120 days of the date of this order, the head of each agency charged with enforcing Title VI shall submit a report to the President, through the Assistant to the President for Domestic Policy, identifying additional nondiscrimination authorities within its enforcement authority with respect to which the IHRA definition of anti-Semitism could be considered.

(c) This order is not intended to, and does not, create any right or benefit, substantive or procedural, enforceable at law or in equity by any party against the United States, its departments, agencies, or entities, its officers, employees, or agents, or any other person.

Context:  In vitro studies have shown that celecoxib inhibits cyclooxygenase 2 (COX-2) but not COX-1, suggesting that this drug may have anti-inflammatory and analgesic activity without adverse upper gastrointestinal (GI) tract effects that result from COX-1 inhibition.

Objective:  To test whether celecoxib has efficacy as an anti-inflammatory and analgesic with reduced GI tract mucosal damage compared with conventional nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs in patients with rheumatoid arthritis.

Results:  All dosages of celecoxib and naproxen significantly improved the signs and symptoms of arthritis compared with placebo. Maximal anti-inflammatory and analgesic activity was evident within 2 weeks of initiating treatment and was sustained throughout the 12 weeks. The incidence of endoscopically determined gastroduodenal ulcers in placebo-treated patients was 4 (4%) of 99, and the incidences across all dosages of celecoxib were not significantly different (P>.40): 9 (6%) of 148 with 100 mg twice per day, 6 (4%) of 145 with 200 mg twice per day, and 8 (6%) of 130 with 400 mg twice per day. In contrast, the incidence with naproxen was 36 (26%) of 137, significantly greater than either placebo or celecoxib (P

The Anti-Kickback Act of 1986, 41 U.S.C.  51 et seq., modernized and closed the loopholes of previous statutes applying to government contractors. The 1986 law attempts to make the anti-kickback statute a more useful prosecutorial tool by expanding the definition of prohibited conduct and by making the statute applicable to a broader range of persons involved in government subcontracting. Prosecutions under these statutes must establish the following:

Our goal in creating this resource is to provide a synthesis of anti-racist pedagogy research for Columbia University faculty and graduate instructors who strive to incorporate an anti-racist pedagogy into their personal teaching practice. We offer this guide as a point of entry for instructors from a variety of backgrounds, disciplines, identity positions, and levels of teaching experience who wish to engage in this work. The strategies, summaries, and additional links provide instructors with a theoretical framework upon which to make meaningful, intentional choices in their classrooms.

This resource presents five actions for developing an anti-racist pedagogical practice; these actions illustrate themes distilled from the literature on anti-racist pedagogy. Each action is accompanied by individual reflection questions, additional resources, and further reading. Although presented as individual actions, these things happen simultaneously, and often, without any linearity; all that to say, they do not happen in a vacuum. For example, you might find yourself continuously returning to action two: interrogate your positionality and (un)conscious biases; and, in fact, you should! Developing and fostering an anti-racist pedagogical practice is an ongoing and iterative process. It is a journey that one embarks on both as an individual and with a larger community.

The following resource is meant to help guide the Columbia teaching community into discussions about anti-racist pedagogies and teaching practices. This resource is by no means exhaustive but rather acts as a starting point to engage in much more complex and larger discussions. Classrooms serve as microcosms of the larger society, and the resources offered here, while focused on pedagogical practices, support broader commitments to anti-racist actions in higher education. In what follows, you will find suggested resources and further reading associated with each of these actions, as well as reflective prompts to help guide your own journey toward developing an anti-racist pedgoagical practice. 2351a5e196
