If you want rugged, military-grade protection with a built-in cleaning kit for your Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds during your daily commute, choose Olytop Bose QuietComfort; if you need a fully functional replacement charging case to restore power to lost or damaged AirPods 3rd Generation earbuds, choose korllo Replacement Charging Case. These two products serve fundamentally different purposes: one is an external armor designed to shield existing premium hardware, while the other is a critical internal component that breathes life back into a specific pair of earbuds. Trying to use them interchangeably would be a mistake, as they operate in completely separate ecosystems.
• Olytop Bose QuietComfort: Offers military-grade shockproof durability and a dedicated cleaning toolset, but it is strictly an accessory shell that adds weight and requires the original case inside. Best for commuters who drop their gear frequently.
• korllo Replacement Charging Case: Provides essential USB-C and Qi wireless charging capabilities with a pairing button, but it contains no earbuds and is incompatible with any device other than specific AirPods 3 models. Best for users who have lost their original charger or need a backup power source.
This product is designed exclusively for owners of the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds (2nd Gen 2025), the 2023 Ultra model, or the 2022 QuietComfort Earbuds II. If you are someone who relies on these specific headphones for commuting through busy city streets or navigating crowded transit systems, the primary value here lies in its construction. The case is crafted from durable military-grade materials intended to absorb impacts. This is not a slim, minimalist cover; it is a heavy-duty shield meant to prevent accidental damage when the case slips out of a pocket or takes a tumble onto pavement.
The design features a secure locking mechanism that keeps the case tightly shut. For a commuter, this means peace of mind that the earbuds won't spill out of the case while you are rushing to catch a train or walking through a crowd. The two-piece design allows the original earbud case to open and close flexibly even when encased within this protective skin. However, you must understand that this is a protective shell, not a standalone unit. You still need the original Bose charging case inside it. Without the original electronics, this product is just a hard plastic box.
Additionally, Olytop includes a unique three-in-one cleaning kit with a flocking sponge, soft brush, and metal pen tip. This is particularly useful for commuters who find themselves constantly wiping down sticky screens or dusty keyboards. While the kit is marketed for general electronics like phones and cameras, having it attached to your audio case ensures you can clean your buds regularly without searching for a separate tool. The only significant trade-off is the added bulk. If you prefer a sleek profile that slides easily into a tight jacket pocket, this rugged addition might feel too large. But if your priority is ensuring your expensive audio gear survives the rigors of daily travel, this is the clear choice.

The korllo Replacement Charging Case targets a very specific audience: those who own the third-generation AirPods (models A2897, A2566, A2565, A2564, or A2563) and have either lost their original charging case or found it broken beyond repair. Unlike the Olytop option which protects a device, this product is the device's power source. It is sold as "case only," meaning there are no earbuds included. If you are looking for a complete set of headphones, this is not the item for you. However, if you have the earbuds sitting in a drawer with no way to charge them, this is the solution.
What makes this product viable for daily use is its dual-charging capability. It supports both USB-C wired charging and Qi wireless charging. This flexibility is crucial for modern commuters who might rely on different charging stations throughout their day—plugging into a laptop via USB-C at work or dropping it on a wireless pad at a coffee shop. The case also features a built-in physical Bluetooth pairing button, which simplifies the setup process if you are re-pairing with a new phone or tablet after a reset. An LED indicator provides clear visual feedback on charging and pairing status, so you never have to guess if the battery is full.
Safety is another key factor. The enclosure includes over-charge, over-voltage, and over-temperature protection, ensuring reliable performance during daily use. The material is standard plastic, offering a lightweight form factor that fits comfortably in a pocket. The trade-off here is strict compatibility. This case will not work with any other Apple model or brand of headphones. Furthermore, because it lacks the original packaging and proprietary sealing of the factory unit, some users might worry about long-term durability compared to the official product. Yet, for the sheer necessity of keeping your AirPods powered, the korllo case fills a critical gap that no third-party accessory can match.

In my opinion, the right choice depends entirely on what you are trying to solve today. If you already own the Bose QuietComfort Ultra earbuds and want to ensure they survive your commute without a scratch, I would buy the Olytop case immediately. Its focus on ruggedness and the inclusion of a cleaning tool make it a practical companion for active travelers who cannot afford to lose or break their gear. On the other hand, if your AirPods 3 have lost their original case and you are stuck with dead earbuds, the korllo replacement is the only logical path forward. It restores the ability to charge and pair your devices. For most people facing a "commuting" scenario where gear protection is the main concern, the Olytop solution offers more tangible, day-to-day value by preventing damage before it happens.
No, the Olytop case is precisely designed only for the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds (2nd Gen 2025), Ultra (2023), and QuietComfort Earbuds II (2022). It will not fit other generations or brands.
No, the korllo product is a replacement charging case only. It does not include the earbuds, so you must already possess the correct AirPods 3rd Generation earbuds to use it.
According to the specifications, the Olytop case is not water-resistant. It offers shockproof protection against impacts but should not be relied upon for submersion or heavy rain exposure.
The korllo case fully recharges in about 2 hours using either the USB-C cable or a Qi wireless charger, providing multiple recharges for your earbuds depending on usage conditions.
