Step 1: Click the Start button.
Step 2: In the Run box, type the word 'WINVER' and hit Enter.
Step 3: A pop-up window will appear, showing the version, edition, and build number of your operating system.

To verify if Microsoft Access is installed on your computer, follow these steps:
Open the Start menu and type 'Access' in the search bar.
If Microsoft Access appears in the search results, it is installed.
If Access does not appear, it is likely not installed

If you're unsure whether you have Microsoft Access installed, follow these steps:
Open any Microsoft Office app (e.g., Word or Excel).
Click on File
Then go to Account.
Under Product Information, look for Microsoft Access in the list of installed Office applications.
If you do not have Microsoft Access installed, you will need to install Access Runtime.

This message appears because Olympus RE Software relies on Microsoft Access to run. The .accdb file format is a Microsoft Access database file, and the software requires Access to operate correctly.
Steps to resolve the issue:
Ensure that Microsoft Access is installed on your computer. Please refer to our Preinstallation Guide and follow the directions provided to verify and set up the required environment.
Restart Olympus RE Software after completing the steps outlined in the Preinstallation Guide.
If the issue persists, please contact our Support team for further assistance.
In some cases, where Microsoft Access is not present on your PC, additional tools such as Access Runtime may be required to ensure Olympus RE Software runs smoothly. These tools provide the necessary environment to execute the software without needing a full Microsoft Access installation, ensuring compatibility with all the software's features.
If any extra tools are needed, we will guide you through the secure and easy process of downloading them from Microsoft's official servers. Once installed, you can proceed with downloading and setting up Olympus RE Software. Please Verify before installation
This error occurs because Office products installed using different technologies—Click-to-Run and Windows Installer (MSI)—cannot coexist on the same computer. To resolve it:
Identify the installation type:
Open any Office app, go to File > Account > About, and check if it’s "Click-to-Run" or "MSI."
Uninstall conflicting versions:
Use the Control Panel to remove Office or standalone applications with incompatible installation technologies.
Install compatible versions:
Download and install the Access Runtime version that matches your existing Office installation method.
