Why are we participating in this project?

We would like to motivate pupils to take part in regular sport activities and in an effort to improve;

We want to get to know the didactics and methodics of athletics teaching in other countries;

We want to improve our athletic terminology in the English language, which is the official language of the IAAF;

We want to get known and to learn to respect multicultural differences, specifics of partner countries in the fields of sport, gastronomy, culture, history, religion and race;

We want to develop an interest in the healthy lifestyle of the pupils, to try to develop a symbiosis of body and spirit development –Kalos kagathos , and a sense of a fair play.

The concrete result of our project will be:

a) new educational materials in the form of film and methodics which will be produced after each project meeting through learning, teaching and training activities;

b) we want to create a Terminological dictionary of athletic disciplines in English with translations into all the languages of the participating countries, the creation of which will be done by pupils and teachers of all participating schools.
