Omar Lawrence is a visual artist living in Orange County, New York. He is currently a senior at SUNY Purchase, majoring in Painting & Drawing.

His paintings are concerned with the contact between human lives and the lives of animals. He uses romantic painting conventions of erratic landscapes, dramatic tension and the sublime to represent the subjects depicted in his paintings. He prefers to paint using diluted acrylic on raw canvas.
