At oLo, we are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our mobile application handles information when you use our services. Our primary goal is to provide a safe, simple, and accessible communication tool for seniors and individuals with disabilities.
oLo is designed with a "Privacy by Design" approach. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data to any external servers. All processing happens locally on your device.
Contacts: We request access to your device's contacts solely to display them within the app, allowing you to create "Favorites" and make calls easily. We do not upload your contact list to any server.
Location Data: We request location access only for the SOS Emergency feature. Your real-time location is only accessed when you trigger an SOS message. This data is sent directly via SMS to your designated emergency contact and is never shared with us or any third party.
Microphone: Access to the microphone is required for standard telephonic functions during active calls. We do not record or listen to your conversations.
Photos: Access to your photo library is used only if you choose to assign a custom photo to a contact.
We do not use third-party analytics, advertising networks, or tracking SDKs. Your app usage remains completely private to you.
Since we do not collect any personal data on our servers, we do not retain any of your information. Any app-specific settings (like favorite contacts or SOS numbers) are stored locally on your device and are deleted if you uninstall the app.
The app requires the following permissions to function:

Our services are not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
