Superb song. The song made me enchanted mainly because this song was released when I was in love. And so this song reminds me of my first love (former, though).

Thank you Amitabh, thank you Arijit and everyone who worked behind this.

Hindustan Times reports that Vijan confirmed his lucky mascot Deepika Padukone has done a special dance performance on the title song of the film, which is a rehash of the song 'Raabta' from Sriram Raghawan's 2012 spy thriller Agent Vinod.

While the original song featured Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan, the rehashed version by music composer Pritam will see Padukone shake a leg on the same. She especially flew to Budapest to shoot for the song.

Sholay is an essential part of Indian cinematic history and has had a lasting impact on Indian pop culture. Almost all the famous scenes and songs are well known, and its characters, from the Jai-Veeru pairing, Gabbar himself, have served as the inspiration for many other personas across Indian cinema. . . Sholay itself was inspired by numerous western movies, specifically Seven Samurai and the numerous spaghetti westerns famous during the late 60s and early 70s.

He is one of the most popular composers of recent times, and also controversy's favourite child. If his songs turn out to be chartbusters, he has often been accused of plagiarism. More than often, his music finds some inspiration in international artists. But an unfazed Pritam is busy taking Bollywood by storm.

The 45-year-old composer, who picked up almost all awards for Ae Dil Hai Mushkil last year, was set to make Bollywood fans go high on music once again with Raabta. But Pritam has opted out of the project. He took to Facebook to make the announcement that he has decided to not continue working on Dinesh Vijan's directorial venture. And he has his reason. Pritam, who likes to work on solo-composer albums, is miffed with the fact that film's producers, Homi Adjania and Bhushan Kumar, want to recreate an old song for Raabta and he is not happy to have an "outside" song in the album.

"I had decided a while back to only do solo composer albums and not have an outside song in my album. In Raabta, producers want to recreate an existing song from the music label as part of promotions, so I have decided to not continue with the film and requested the producers to take out my name from the film credits and promotions. The album will be completed by my company Jam 8," he wrote on Facebook.

If reports are to be believed, his contract clearly states that he won't work on any recreation. And the title track of Raabta is actually a recreation of a song of the same name from the 2012 film Agent Vinod, which was also composed by Pritam.

However, this is not the first time that the composer has courted a controversy. Having been accused of plagiarism many a times, things got murky for the composer when an Iranian Band Barobax filed a case against Pritam for lifting the music of Pyaar Ki Pungi (Agent Vinod) from their track Soosan Khanoom. The song once again brought Pritam under the scanner, but he constantly denied these allegations. The band later withdrew the case and apologised to Pritam for the wrong accusation.

And the last song of his to make it to the alleged list of plagiarised tracks was Bulleya from Karan Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. As soon as the song hit the internet in 2016, many could not help but notice the similarity between Bulleya and Papa Roach's Last Resort. The introductory riff gave it all away. But Pritam was quick to rubbish the allegations. In his defense, Pritam said in an interview to Rolling Stone, "Both songs feature a classic chord progression, which you will find on many other rock songs too. Today, no composer would dare copy a song. Copyright laws are so strong that nobody wants to take a risk."

However, over the years, Pritam has learnt a lot from his past mistakes. "Post all that (plagiarism accusation), I have been very particular. While working on a song, if someone says that a melody sounds a little like another song, I change it immediately. I have become paranoid," he told Rolling Stone. be457b7860
