I am glad to announce that, a joint work with Dr. Olivier Geffroy about volatilome of Vitis vinifera berries has resulted in a new publication  in OENO One ! It is now available online:

This work uses SIFT-MS technology for large-scale phenotyping of berries to study volatile fingerprint.

I am delighted to announce that our latest article on the early interaction between grapevine and an esca-associated pathogen has been accepted for publication in Plant Physiology and Biochemistry! It is now available online:

This study provides new insights into the early perception of Phaeomoniella chlamydospora by grapevine cells, highlighting the proteinaceous nature of the fungal elicitor and the key roles of ROS and calcium signalling in the early defence response.

I am delighted to announce the publication of our encyclopedia chapter with Elsevier on the regulation of stomatal movements and their role in crop improvement.

Written in collaboration with my colleague and friend Dr. Maeli Melotto (UC Davis) 😊, this project has been a wonderful opportunity to highlight one of my favorite research topics—the regulation of stomatal movements—and to share some of the research perspectives and hypotheses that are particularly important to me.

I sincerely hope that this chapter will be a valuable resource for researchers and students interested in plant physiology and plant–environment interactions.
