Olivia K. Fay

I am an immunologist and science educator currently completing my PhD thesis work under the mentorship of Dr. Xunrong Luo. I graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with a BS in Clinical Laboratory Science in 2020, then worked as a medical technologist in the Transfusion Service at Duke University Hospital. I entered the Pathobiology and Translational Biosciences graduate program at Duke University in Fall 2022 and gained experience in graduate education through my role as the teaching assistant for General Pathology in Spring 2024. I recently passed my preliminary examination to advance to PhD candidacy.
