I am a junior at Black Hills High School in Tumwater, Washington, and enjoy being active in a variety of interests. Following school work, my time is spent competitve swimming in both the high school team and on a club swim team. Since joining the team as a freshman, I have gone to State each season and this year, placed 6th in the 100 breaststroke in all 1A-2A schools in Washington. For five years, during middle and high school, I have been a part of the yearbook staff. As an editor for three years and serving as a volunteer staff member for two years, I am skilled at layout design, photography, proofreading, writing, and editing. I maintain a 4.0 grade point average and take a combination of AP and excelerated classes.
