Hi!
I am a Ph.D. Candidate in Economics at the University College of Dublin. My research interests are in Applied Microeconomics, Development Economics, Health Economics, Migration, and Climate Change specifically in Asia and developing countries.
My current research combines microeconometric and geospatial analysis to understand the intrinsic relationship between early childhood conditions and an individual's human development outcomes.
I hold a MSc in International Business Studies from the University Erlangen Nuremberg in Germany, a BSc in Economics-Mathematics and a BA in International Relations with a focus on Economic Development from Simmons University in Boston, MA, United States.
My research is funded through the Government of Ireland's Research Council. I recently returned from teaching at the Beijing-Dublin International College (BDIC) at the Beijing University of Technology (BDIC).
When I'm not conducting research, I am writing or illustrating (Kit August Publishing).
