I am Deputy Director of the Ludwig Erhard ifo Center for Social Market Economy and Institutional Economics as well as Senior Researcher at the Institute for Employment Research (IAB).
Further, I am affiliated with CESifo, the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, the University of Uppsala, the Cluster of Excellence "The Politics of Inequality", and the Leibniz-Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW).
I am an Applied Microeconomist in the fields of Labor, Health, and Institutional Economics. Specifically, I am interested in how labor market institutions shape the distributional consequences of technological and structural change, such as ageing, artificial intelligence, and robotic automation.
