I am a social scientist based in Bern. My research focuses on inequality and poverty in Switzerland, as well as on welfare interventions aimed at mitigating the causes and consequences of these issues.
From a methodological perspective, I am particularly fascinated by the potential of digitalization to provide new tools, methods, and data. I am especially interested in scientific work with administrative data (for example, tax data).
I am also interested in finding better ways to communicate scientific results to the public, as I believe many important academic findings do not make their way into public discourse. In this regard, I am particularly interested in data visualization.
