Students from English Composition 101 at NJCU collected all their drafts, outlines, diaries, and created personal Google folders. These artifacts serve as a testimony and demonstrate their learning progress. Together we created a website on which their diaries stay alive. This memoir is a digital garden created by English Composition students at NJCU who worked in small groups on three different research themes: AI, Social Media, and Food. The digital memoir represents their writing and reading academic journey, their challenges, various forms of adapting, shaping, and presenting how their learning took place. They saved artifacts such as such as freewrites, bibliography, drafts, interests, images, and videos to visualize their critical thinking and writing process and progress, as well.
