Oliver Wendell Munson was a Howard County Middle School shop teacher. He had unwittingly bought a stolen car and agreed to testify against the car thief, Dennis Watson. On February 13, 1984 he left his Catonsville home to go to work and was never heard from again. Mr. Munson was the 3rd witness scheduled to testify against Dennis Watson to disappear. 2 weeks after he went missing a stolen car was found on the edge of Leakin Park that had 2 receipts in it bearing Mr. Munson's name, a shell casing and traces of blood. This being 1984 police forensics didn't operate like they do now. The blood samples were never linked to Mr. Munson and Mr. Watson was never charged with his murder. The police think Mr. Munson is still in the park. Naturally, there are a lot of bodies in the park but if you find one it might be this guy. Make the call, his brother is wondering where he is and Mr. Watson is still out there probably making more people disappear.Â
