DISCOVER OLIVE HILL

Welcome to our community. If you have never been to Olive Hill, now is the time for you to visit and discover why Olive Hill truly is such a nice place to call home!

Olive Hill is unique for many reasons, but our strong point is the people who live and work to make our community what it is today. A positive “can do” attitude prevails among our volunteers, citizens and business owners. These individuals are the means for the ongoing progress and visioning for our city’s future.

Our small town friendliness complements our mission in providing a variety of activities and various types of entertainment and adventure for everyone.

Our local natural trails are HUGE attractions to hikers, cyclists, horseback riders, and water adventurers, and why they continue attracting more visitors with breathtaking, scenic routes cascading the foothills of the Appalachia region.

Olive Hill Trail Town (OHTT) was originally formed by the Olive Hill Council for Planning and Restoration after the 2010 floods as a way to tap into our incredible natural resources, attract trail users, meet recreational needs of local residents, and boost local businesses with a trail and family-friendly place that also provides a warm welcome and great hospitality.

We constantly maintain our trails to make them safe, easy to follow, and with accessible information about the area, including businesses. We encourage nature lovers and adventure seekers to explore our entire community for a more memorable trip.

If there is anything we can do to help you become better acquainted with our fine city, its residents and business owners, please do not hesitate to contact us at any time.
