MEET THE INSTRUCTOR
I primarily paint with gouache and acrylics, often choosing simple, everyday subjects and landscapes. Most of my paintings are small and completed in a single sitting as a practice of mindfulness and centering. Instead of focusing on fine detail, I emphasize color, gesture, and texture to convey a particular mood. For me, painting is not about creating work for galleries; it serves as a space for mindfulness, helps me stay present, and brings me joy. The canvas becomes less a platform for demonstrating perfection and more a place for renewal, reflection, and happiness.
