The Oliphant lab is centered around developing a lab culture of integrity, community, and curiosity. We strive to maintain a supportive and inclusive environment where every member feels respected, valued, and empowered to contribute. We prioritize rigorous science, thoughtful communication, and a shared commitment to learning. We give credit where it's due, help each other troubleshoot, and hold ourselves accountable to high ethical standards in both research and conduct. Whether you’re troubleshooting an experiment, mentoring a junior member, or presenting your work, we ask that you stay true to yourself and have a willingness to be open, humble, and always have a desire to improve. Together, we will aim to build a lab that is not only scientifically impactful but also deeply collaborative and maintains a strong sense of community and support. I want every person in the lab to have the understanding that we can grow as cancer biologists, but also as human beings, with the goal of bettering ourselves and each other everyday!
