Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Spain
DYGIRO project (ESA Living Planet Fellowship) & 4D Dynamic Earth project (ESA)
Develop a consistent joint inversion framework for dynamic topography, satellite gravity and global waveform seismic tomography to consistently infer the upper mantle and crustal structure.
Implement a very fast and efficient 3D global Stokes solver using Reduced Order Models.
2021
Fusion Group
Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC) , Spain

Further develop the capabilities of a deterministic neutron transport module within the high-performance multi-physics simulation code Alya.
MCNP neutron transport simulations
2016 - 2020
Laboratori de Càlcul Numèric (LaCaN), Departament of Civil and Environmental Engineering
Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), Spain
FPI- MINECO 2015 (BES-2015-074911)
Developing a reduced-order Stokes solver to obtain fast and accurate solutions of the lithospheric and sub-lithospheric mantle flow.
Implementing the coupling between a Markov Chain Monte Carlo method with a Reduced Basis (RB) strategy. The on-the-fly RB approach generates a small basis tailored to the specific inverse problem.
Studying the influence and efficiency of the RB strategy within the probabilistic inversion framework for large-scale geophysical problems.
Research stays at Macquarie University (Sydney)
2017 & 2019
Departament of Earth and Environmental Sciencies
Macquarie University, Australia
Working to couple a fast Stokes solver with the already existing inversion probabilistic software for large-scale geophysical problems
2012 -2015
Radiations Physics Unit, Neutron Dosimetry group.
Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), Spain
Etching and counting of CR39 nuclear track detectors used by GRRI. Counting with Bonner Spheres and obtention of the corresponding spectrum.
Monte Carlo simulations using MCNPX code to simulate neutron interactions with matter. In particular, CR39 detector response to neutrons.
Participation in several irradiation campaigns with Bonner Spheres and CR-39 in facilities either in Sevilla (Spain) and Rome (Italy).
2012
Radiology Protection at ALBA Synchrotron, Spain
