Turning 70 & I'm showing you how I create my artwork.
For this project the Old Guy's Art I am using the pseudonym C.J. Callahan and I will be turning 70 years old soon and I thought it was time I shared how I create my paintings. I've never had classes or really shown how I create any of my work. There maybe a couple of videos out there some place. But I don't know what site(s) they are on. I was never into creating videos or promoting my work that way. I will show you what paints you can use to start with and you can use artist paints later on as you start selling your work, if you'd like or keep using the same paints. There is no hard set rule when creating art you do and use whatever it is you want to create your artwork.
Below are videos in the order I created them while live streaming on Kick & then posting videos on YouTube . That is something I never did either, so you may hear a few choice words in the videos because I talk the way I talk and when work if I get mad at myself I kind use words you may not like. But that is part of creating, when you think you've made a mistake you learn to use it.
All videos will be listed on this page in the order I made them.

A description of different strainers I built and use for my paintings. There is a, 50 x 50 inch, 48 x 60 inch, and a 60 x 60 inch strainer, each one is 1.5 inches deep. The 36 x 48 inch is a panel. I stretch canvas, create the painting, varnish it, then I remove the painting, and I only ship the canvas to the buyer or to an art gallery I work with.
