Welcome to Older Wiser Law Students

The purpose of Older Wiser Law Students at Cornell (OWLS) is to foster a supportive community for students who have taken significant time off prior to law school; are transitioning into second careers; are partnered, married, and/or parenting; are balancing significant non-academic commitments during the semester; or view their academic path as non-traditional. We define a significant amount of time as five years or more separated from an undergraduate institution, but any student who feels they would benefit from community support are welcome to join the organization.
